Sign-ups for our summer reading program will begin on Tuesday, June 17th at 4 pm, when we will have storyteller extraordinaire Simon Brooks at the Athenaeum. This event will be located on the 2nd Floor. We hope to see you!

Join MacKenzie in the Children’s Library for storytime every Friday at 10:30 am! MacKenzie will read a few books, offer a fun science activity, and there will be a small snack.

June 27: Weather – Temperature
July 4: Independence Day – NO STORYTIME
July 11: Plants – Leaves
July 18: Shapes – Tangrams
July 25: Sound – Tambourines
August 1: Water – Float or sink?
August 8: Senses – How does it feel?

Our end-of-summer celebration is Thursday, August 14th at 4 pm–get ready to get your groove on to the music of Gary Dulabaum, and don’t forget to pick up your free book and participation certificate. This event will be located outdoors, behind the Children’s Library.
